What makes Pawmenities different from other dog boarding facilities? +

Pawmenities offers cage-free, luxury boarding at a private waterfront home with 24/7 supervision. Unlike traditional kennels, your dog stays in a real home environment with premium amenities, daily photo and video updates, and personalized attention. We're Boston's award-winning service, recognized as Best Dog Daycare 2025 by Insider Weekly and Best Pet Services in Boston 2025.

What vaccines are required for boarding and daycare? +

All dogs must have current vaccinations uploaded at least 1 day before their visit. Required vaccines include: Rabies (1-year or 3-year accepted), Distemper (1-year or 3-year accepted), and Bordetella/Kennel Cough (must be current within 6 months). You can upload vaccine records through our client portal.

What are your hours of operation? +

Our drop-off and pick-up hours are 10:30 AM to 4:00 PM and 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM, every day including weekends. Please note we are closed between 4:00 PM and 6:30 PM. For boarding guests, we provide 24/7 care and supervision.

How much does daycare cost? +

Daycare pricing is $65 per day for adult dogs and $100 per day for puppies (under 12 months). We also offer add-on services including training ($50/day), hikes ($40), runs ($35), and treadmill sessions ($30).

How much does boarding cost? +

Boarding rates are: Adult dogs (65 lbs and under) $75/night, Adult XL dogs (over 65 lbs) $85/night, Puppies $110/night, and Puppy XL $120/night. A holiday surcharge of $100 applies during peak periods. A 50% deposit is required within 3 days of booking.

What should I bring for my dog's stay? +

Please bring: pre-portioned labeled food, any medications in original containers with instructions, and a collar and leash with ID tag. You do NOT need to bring crates, rawhides, food/water bowls, or valuables. We provide beds, bowls, blankets, and treats for all guests.

Where are you located? +

We have two locations by appointment only: our Seaport location at 1 Harbor Shore Drive, Boston, MA and our North Shore location on Market Street, Lynnfield, MA. Dogs stay at a private waterfront homeβ€”the exact address is provided after your booking is confirmed for security purposes.

How do I book a reservation? +

New clients can sign up at clients.pawmenities.com/client-onboarding. Existing clients can log in at clients.pawmenities.com. After you submit an inquiry, someone from our team will confirm your booking within 72 hours. You can also call or text us at (617) 917-2422.

What is your cancellation policy? +

Cancellations made 7 or more days before your reservation receive a full refund. A 50% deposit is required within 3 days of booking to secure your spot. We recommend booking early, especially during holidays when demand is high.

What happens if I'm late for pickup? +

We offer a 10-minute grace period for pickups. After that, a late fee of $2.25 per minute applies. If you're more than 30 minutes late, an overnight boarding charge of $85 will be applied. Please contact us if you're running late so we can make arrangements.

Do you offer transportation services? +

Yes! We offer transport services for $25 per trip. Members receive free transport as part of their membership benefits. This is a convenient option if you're unable to drop off or pick up your pup during our regular hours.

What add-on services do you offer? +

We offer several premium add-ons: Spa Package ($110), Training ($50/day), Hike ($40), Run ($35), Treadmill ($30), and Transport ($25, free for members). These can be added to any daycare or boarding stay to enhance your dog's experience.

Do you accept puppies? +

Yes, we welcome puppies! Puppies under 12 months have special pricing: $100/day for daycare, $110/night for boarding, and $120/night for XL puppies. They must have completed their required vaccinations before their visit.

Do you accept large/XL dogs? +

Absolutely! We welcome dogs of all sizes. For dogs over 65 lbs, our XL boarding rate is $85/night (vs $75 for dogs 65 lbs and under). All dogs are grouped based on size, play style, and temperament for the best experience.

Will I receive updates about my dog? +

Yes! We provide daily photo and video updates so you can see your pup enjoying their stay. Updates are sent through our client portal. You're also welcome to call or text us at (617) 917-2422 anytime to check on your furry friend.

What happens in case of an emergency? +

Your dog's safety is our top priority. In case of a medical emergency, we will immediately contact you and take your dog to the nearest veterinary clinic. We require emergency contact information and your vet's details on file before any stay.

Do you board cats or other pets? +

We specialize exclusively in dogs and do not board cats or other pets. This allows us to focus entirely on providing the best possible care for our canine guests in our cage-free, home environment.

Is overnight supervision provided? +

Yes! Unlike many facilities, we provide true 24/7 supervision. Your dog is never left alone. Our staff lives on-site at our private waterfront home, ensuring your pup receives constant care and attention throughout their stay, day and night.
